Hello splinterlands family. Participating in Guild Brawl in Splinterlands and earning Merits from it has always been one of the most exciting experiences. I have been playing Brawl regularly for quite some time and trying to accumulate some Merits in various ways. Finally, a total of 9,858 Merits were accumulated in my account. For a long time, I was thinking of saving these Merits and buying some Gladius cases or packs from the Guild Store at once. Today, the day finally came when I decided to buy 4 Gladius cases, and at the same time, collect some Blood Stones and Power Stones to improve the quality of the cards. This whole process and the excitement that was working in my mind while opening the packs were really different. Through today's writing, I am sharing my wonderful experience with you step by step.
My first goal after entering the Guild Store was to buy a Gladius case. We all know that the price of a Gladius case is 2,000 Merits. Since I had 9,858 Merits, I decided to buy 4 packs. A total of 8,000 Meritswase is needed for the 4 packs. As I selected 4 on the screen and prepared to buy, I was filled with joy and curiosity as to what kind of cards I would end up getting from these packs.
After purchasing 4 packs using Merits, I had 1,858 Merits left in my account. Before opening the Gladius cases directly, I thought it would be a good idea to not miss the opportunity to improve the quality of the cards. So I decided to use the remaining Merits to buy some stones.
Blood Stones are available in the Guild Store, which doubles the chance of getting Gladiator Legendary cards. From my remaining 1,858 Merits, I first selected 15 Blood Stones to buy. Since our Guild Lodge had a 10% discount, I got these 15 Blood Stones for 810 Merits. This increased my chances of getting a Legendary card a little.
After buying the Blood Stones, I had 1,048 Merits left. This time, I decided to use the remaining Merits to buy Power Stones, which helps double my chances of getting a Gold Foil card. With the discount, the price of 14 Power Stones came to 1,008 Merits. I bought them immediately, so that I could get the maximum benefit during my opening. Now I had the necessary stones and 4 Gladius cases ready.
After all the preparations, the real thrill came. When I entered the pack opening screen, I saw five cards lying face down in front of me. At this point, my heart rate increases a bit, because behind each card there may be a powerful gladiator card that can help a lot in the next brawls. This moment before opening the cards was really great.
As soon as I opened the first pack, a big surprise awaited me. As soon as I turned over the first card, I saw a gold foil card! The card was the 2-manor Helmet Kharafax, which was added to my collection directly at level 3. Gladiator cards are already very effective, and getting gold foil on top of them is really a joy. By getting this one card, my entire effort to buy the pack today felt like a success. In addition, in this first pack, I also got Crash Wonderford, the rare Alfredo, Chimney Wallstop, and Ysgald Vorst.
The gold frame of the Helmet Kharafax card looked amazing because it was gold foil. I hope its stats and design will contribute a lot to the gameplay. Below I have shared a close-up picture of this wonderful card, which was the main attraction of today's opening.
After this incredible joy of the first pack, I decided to open the second pack with great enthusiasm. Although there were no gold foils or legendary cards in the second pack, I found several useful cards that would enrich my deck. This pack contained Alva the Crusher, Bertrol Gibson, Catrelba Gibson, Chimney Wallstop and the rare category Relenor Cleaver.
Then I proceeded to open the third pack. After opening this pack, I found that it contained Alva the Crusher, the rare category Relenor Cleaver, another rare card Cotripus Bane, Witch of Warwick and Catrelba Gibson. Getting two rare cards in the same pack was also a great achievement.
Finally, I opened my fourth and final pack. In this last pack, in addition to the regular edition Helmet Kharafax card, I also got Bertrol Gibson, the rare category Ajax Lightfoot, the rare category Liza Fox and Catrelba Gibson. The pack opening session ended quite satisfactorily with the two rare cards in the last pack as well.
Overall, the experience of buying and opening the 4 guild packs or Gladius cases today was a great one for me. My Gladiator card collection is now stronger than ever, with a gold foil card and a few useful rare cards. I hope to use these new cards to bring good results for our guild in the upcoming brawls. It's the little moments like these in Splinterlands that make the game so much more enjoyable. Be sure to share your recent pack-opening experience.
