Is it possible to originate from somewhere but speak with an accent of another place? Inspired by an article about Megan Markle’s “new found” British accent, and the uproar it recently caused, @goulgingv who is an American writes of her own experience of losing her accent. This post is one of those thought provoking write ups that deserve anybody’s attention, not the least as it explores a not so popularly discussed but existential problem that is faced by most people in this world of different origins. It is an original write, on a relevant subject, delivered with a deep and clear narrative sweep that deserves to be rewarded.

This is a continuation of a well captured homage to Kafka and Prague in this July Month of his birthday. It is an exploration of this prolific writer and the city with which he is inextricably intertwined. Get in this post, the clear well captured perspective of a tourist. I like the way @tmayed captures in text and images, the city of Prague and how it influenced some of kafka’s most famous works — and how in so doing, it may have largely shaped the famously tortured writer himself.
This is a simple and quick recipe that is easy to follow for all those to whom fish is a delicacy. I especially like the ease with which this is prepared, and @alex-icey makes a good case for it.
