Hello people! Let me introduce my new camera and its capability of taking photos. Canon 6D is a full frame camera, that means that has full frame sensor instead of crop sensor that I had before. It means I can get much better low light photos and also much better depth of field. Multiplication between focal length and aperture is past now, because before I had to multiply crop factor with focal length of my lens.
First photo was taken yesterday, low light photo with ISO2000 that is not problem for this camera. Noise level It's like taking photo with ISO200 on my old Canon 600D. That is a huge difference! :D
There are two photos that looks almost the same but, as you can see, depth of field is different. One is taken with crop sensor and one with full frame. If you read first three sentences that I wrote, you will get it fast which one was taken with ff and crop. :D I used same focal lengths and aperture for this comparison.
There is one thing that is painfully for me to admit and that is macro photography. Because of crop sensor that I had before, I could make really good closeups of insect eyes because of magnification that produces, now I'm little bit far from subject. It's still good magnification but it's smaller than I had. :D
Even tho magnification is smaller now, details are much better. :D I can also do some cropping because resolution is higher that I previously had. Only thing that is lacking from my old camera is flippable screen, that is a great feature because when I'm getting really close to subject I tend to place my camera to look like there is eye contact between camera and subject. I don't like taking photos from above them, it doesn't look interesting. I will get used to it and find my way of taking photos of them as I did before. :)
Overall difference between two cameras that I have is huge. Everything is better with new one, high ISO, depth of field, sharpness, higher resolution etc. Choice that I made during my purchase is spot on! :D
Thank you for stopping by! :)
