"No!!! " I screamed at the top of my voice as I ran weakly to save my father. But before I could get to him the evil Princess Dowager had already plunged the knife in to his chest and there laid my dad's lifeless body before me. I didn't know how to start crying. My body was vibrating not out of fear but out of anger. "Aren't you satisfied?" I shouted at Dowager. "Do you actually want to wipe away my whole lineage?!". "What else do you want?. I gave you the sacred pearl but you still killed my father. Why must you be so evil?!" I spat out all these words not minding who I was talking to or what punishments will follow. At that moment all I wanted was to plunge a knife in to Dowager's chest just as she did to my dad. I no more feared her. She wasn't even worth respect from a one year old. I was raging and burning with anger and all Dowager did was to smirk devilishly and utter some very foolish words that made me rush at her. "It isn't such a bad idea to wipe out your whole lineage by the way of what use is your family to our kingdom?"
As far as I could remember Princess Dowager had been my best friend. Her parents and mine were the closest friends in the whole kingdom. Everyone envied their friendship. When Dowager's parents travel for their numerous conferences and town meetings, my parents usually took care of her. They treated her as their own child. My dad sometimes risked his life for Dowager. She was always getting into trouble anytime she was out of the palace. But now she has killed the man who cherished her and took her as his. She has bitten the finger that fed her!. I held unto my father's corps as all these thoughts ran through my head. "I must surely avenge my father's death" I said as I cursed Dowager under my breath.
