Upon returning to the reserve, we found three beautiful species [Esp/Eng].

Siempre me pongo muy feliz cuando salimos de casa en busca de hongos para visitar en esta hermosa ¨FungiFridayCommunity¨:  . Qué satisfacción visitar la reserva y dar con especies hermosas para fotografiar. Aquellos que acostumbran a buscar hongos saben lo que se siente al caminar por el bosque y dar con una especie hermosa.

I'm always so happy when we leave home in search of mushrooms to visit in this beautiful "FungiFridayCommunity": . What a joy to visit the reserve and find beautiful species to photograph. Those who regularly forage for mushrooms know the feeling of walking through the forest and discovering a beautiful specimen.

Esta semana hemos regresado al predio para hacer nuestras búsquedas de hongos, ya que las veces que la visitamos, la reserva nos sorprende con especies o géneros muy bellos, como es este ¨genero¨:   que encontramos en uno de los caminos de acceso al predio. Este es de esos hongos que hace algunos años dábamos con ellos casi a diario, pero en los últimos tiempos casi no lo vemos, y, como pueden apreciar, no están muy bien desarrollados. Los pudimos identificar gracias a que Luis los conoce muy bien.

This week we returned to the property to search for mushrooms, as the reserve surprises us with beautiful species and genera each time we visit, such as this ¨genero¨:   that we found on one of the access paths to the property. This is one of those mushrooms that we used to find almost daily a few years ago, but lately we hardly see it, and, as you can see, it's not very well developed. We were able to identify them thanks to Luis's extensive knowledge of them.

La búsqueda de hongos es realmente curiosa, ya que algo diferente sucede con este otro ¨genero¨ :  de hongos. A estas especies antes pocas veces dábamos con ellas; sin embargo, en los últimos meses nos cruzamos con ellas casi seguidos. La verdad es que no tengo ni idea de por qué suceden así las cosas.

The search for mushrooms is truly curious, as something different happens with this other "genus" : of mushrooms. We rarely came across these species before; however, in recent months we've been encountering them almost constantly. The truth is, I have no idea why things are happening this way.

De todos los ¨hongos¨:  que hallamos en el predio durante todos estos años que venimos buscando estos bellos ejemplares, estos han sido los más estables, ya que han sido una de las especies primeras en hallar y, en la actualidad, a pesar de todos los cambios que hubo en la reserva, ellos siempre están.

Of all the "fungi": that we found on the property during all these years that we have been searching for these beautiful specimens, these have been the most stable, since they were one of the first species to be found and, currently, despite all the changes that have occurred in the reserve, they are always there.

Quizás esta tercera especie que encontramos sea la más interesante, ya que son de esos hongos que puedes consumir, pero también tienen el poder de curar algunas afecciones. Ha sido genial poder fotografíalos con el ¨teléfono¨ : ¨Movil¨ de Gaby. Para aquellos que desean saber por qué nos gustan tanto, visita el predio; creo que estas especies lo demuestran porque amamos buscar hongos en la reserva.

Perhaps this third species we found is the most interesting, since they are the kind of mushrooms you can eat, but they also have the power to cure some ailments. It was great to be able to photograph them with Gaby's "phone" : "Mobile". For those who want to know why we like them so much, visit the property; I think these species demonstrate why we love mushroom hunting in the reserve.
