Three fungi on the same tree species [Esp/Eng].

Cómo están los que semanalmente visitan esta bella ¨FungiFridayCommunity¨:   La semana pasada confirmé que los mejores hongos que habitan en el predio aparecen con la cercanía de la primavera; esta semana he comprobado que esto es algo que también sucede en las calles de la ciudad.

How are the weekly visitors to this beautiful ¨FungiFridayCommunity¨ doing? Last week, I confirmed that the best fungi on our property appear as spring approaches; this week, I’ve verified that the same thing happens on city streets.

Hacía bastante tiempo que no hacíamos nuestras búsquedas de ¨hongos¨ en las calles del centro; aunque tengo que admitir que no era algo que nosotros hiciéramos a propósito, sucede que en nuestras visitas nos las estábamos hallando, y curiosamente, con la proximidad de la primavera, volvieron a aparecer. Esta es una de esas ¨especies¨:   que volvimos a encontrar durante nuestras caminatas por el microcentro.

It had been quite a while since we went "mushroom hunting" on the downtown streets; although I must admit we didn't set out to do it intentionally—we simply kept stumbling upon them during our visits—curiously enough, they reappeared as spring drew near. This is one of those ¨species¨ we encountered again during our walks through the city center.

Este es otro hermoso ¨ejemplar¨ :  que volvimos a encontrar durante nuestras caminatas que regularmente hacemos en la ciudad. Esto hace algún tiempo eran de esos hongos con los que siempre dábamos, pero desde un tiempo atrás se han desaparecido; por suerte, volvimos a dar con ellos. Honestamente, fue genial volver a estar en su presencia.

This is another beautiful ¨specimen¨ we found again during our regular city walks. Some time ago, these were the kinds of mushrooms we would frequently come across, but for a while, they had disappeared; fortunately, we found them again. Honestly, it was great to be in their presence once more.

Cuando vieron las fotografías de este precioso ¨hongo¨:  seguramente habrán estado de acuerdo con mi afirmación, que estos son de esas especies que les mostraba con mucha frecuencia, pero, como ha sucedido con los otros ejemplares, han desaparecido de las calles. Creo que la aparición de estos hongos tiene que ver con lo que mencioné al principio; la cercanía de la primavera ha hecho que estos hongos regresaran a los árboles de la ciudad.

Upon seeing the photographs of this beautiful mushroom:  you surely agreed with my statement—these belong to the species I used to show you quite often, but, as happened with the other specimens, they had vanished from the streets. I believe the appearance of these mushrooms is linked to what I mentioned earlier; the approach of spring has brought them back to the city's trees.

Si bien son tres tipos de hongos diferentes, hay cierta similitud entre ellos; uno es que son especies que se desarrollan sobre la superficie de troncos de árboles, y otra coincidencia es que los tres hongos estaban sobre la misma especie de árbol. Esto en otra oportunidad ya les había comentado, y me parece que es un dato interesante de compartir. Como siempre ha sido Gaby quien hizo las fotografías con su ¨teléfono¨ : ¨Movil¨.

Although they are three different types of mushrooms, there is a certain similarity among them; One point is that these are species that grow on the surface of tree trunks, and another coincidence is that all three fungi were found on the same tree species. I’ve mentioned this before, but I think it’s an interesting detail to share. As always, Gaby took the photos using her phone.
