Some time ago (two years if I remember correctly) I tried to plant them in the garden by mixing chunks of ripe specimens with good soil and compost. It was supposed to be easy, but so far nothing happened. And the place I took them from, a municipal lawn, is full of them, but who knows how many dogs pooped there, they are also frequently destroyed, so I never tried to eat them yet.
