Okay, I'm fine,
When really
It's ' I'm not okay,
I'm not fine.' The pit is dark,
The walls seem so high,
The space is so vast and hollow,
The emptiness is huge and intense.
I feel I have no control of my movement,
I want to speak, but no sound comes out
As I drift into a vacuum of self-doubt.
I yell, I scream
From the insides of my mind,
But nothing comes out.
Just
'I'm fine,'
I'm alright,
I'm okay, '
That's fine.
That's alright.
That'll do.
