Anyone who ever came to Uruguay, surely knew this fair, or one in another corner of the country, because it is done throughout Uruguay and that is really something cultural that is not found everywhere and it is where all cultures, regions converge , the different foods, the handicrafts with the imprint of their authors, fruits, vegetables, mates and thermos, clothes of all kinds, new and used, cleaning supplies, household items, everything you can think of you can find in the fairs of Uruguay.

With Gaby we are neighbors, so we both went by bus to Montevideo, we have approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes there, depending on the bus we take, some are direct and others stop at almost all the sentry boxes.

After walking around for a while and looking for offers of fruits and vegetables (I leave you at the end a couple of videos touring the fair), we found a Venezuelan Empanadas stand, and what my friend Gaby is from there, as we did not hesitate to try one each!! There were L and XL, I said to myself: knowing them, I'm going to ask for an L that is sure to be big!

Happy with our Sunday lunch at the Tristán Narvaja fair, something that culturally speaking is a pleasure to be able to do every so often, some Sunday, it is a treat. Being able to taste and feel the flavors of our land is priceless!

And look what that pork and cheese empanada is, a delight that you don't know how hard it took me to finish eating it! It was huge as I imagined hahahaha and delicious!!

Clearly I put some tartar sauce on it, which is one of the ones I love the most in the world! Well, I had to go down with the malt, but due to an esophagus problem that I have, I preferred to drink water that I had already bought and it was almost natural as I usually drink it.

Here taking the first bites of that giant dumpling! By God, the filling is very delicious, very tasty, I loved it! I hope to try the allacas and the ham bread at some point. I think I will look for some Venezuelan who will do for me so I try, because I love trying different foods and flavors.

At one point we ran into some of Gaby's very cool friends, with them we had an exquisite juice at the Mora Juice Bar.

We tried a very rich lemonade! And the boys had a vegetarian sandwich for lunch. The four of us chatted for a while there at the bar until the fair began to rise, that is, the stalls were being dismantled. And for this it was 3:30 p.m. We decided to walk for a while and then yes, look for the bus schedules to get back home before it gets too late.

We really enjoyed that weekend walk through the fair, I particularly loved trying the Venezuelan empanada and also drinking that natural juice while we chatted, it was a different Sunday, and I really needed it!

Here below I leave a couple of videos of the fair, one shows how we are walking through one of the hallways of the fair and in the other there is a street artist making her music, here in Uruguay it is very common to see this type of artist in the buses or in the street, as well as in the fair, it is a beautifully free country and I love that!!
