For @Galenkp's weekend contest, I chose the three most meaningful words.
Intelligence, Wealth and Love
Fatte non foste a viver come bruti, ma per seguir virtute e canoscenza
- Dante Alighieri -
Intelligence, I think of it as a muscle.
We are born with a certain amount of intelligence, but we can expand it as much as we want. I'm not talking about simple IQ, I'm talking about that acquired intelligence that makes you shut up when you don't need to talk, understand how a mechanism works and allows you to fix it.
Personally, I have always been fortunate enough to have had a curious mind that did not dwell on the exterior of anything; in fact, as a child, the first thing I did as soon as I was given a toy car or any new object was to understand how it worked.
see what was inside
Well, this curiosity has led me to acquire the ability to be able to perform minor maintenance at home from replacing a faucet to a complete overhaul of an inexpensive camping kitchen.
I exclude IQ, because being able to perform these jobs does not require any out-of-the-ordinary gifts, a little knowledge offered by various publications, and the discipline to follow to the letter what is explained.
The following photos show photos of the stove completely "destroyed" for cleaning and replacing the nozzles (from natural gas to LPG gas) and the result of the work.
Wealth, we're all rich!
It might seem controversial, because in some countries they do not even have the ability to buy a piece of bread.
But they are richer than we are, much more!
They know exactly what it takes in life to be rich, what people need to be to say they are rich.
It is not an Iphone 16 or a Porsche Macan that makes you rich.
Your personality, who you are how you act makes you feel like a rich person.
Tutto il resto è noia
(Everything else is boredom)
-Franco Califano-
Material possessions do not identify a rich person, but a wealthy person, and it has nothing to do with a rich soul!
The good thing you know what it is?
It's that we are all rich and we don't know it, YET!
Love, the engine of human being
Well yes, love, for the human being is the engine.
Everything revolves around this feeling and not only between man/woman, and the basis of any relationship, even friendship.
Love between mother/children, father/children, siblings, friends.
Any relationship between two people has a seed of love; not to be misrepresented with sex, that is another aspect, always in correlation with love, but at a higher stage.
The love that binds parents to children, is the sum total of pure love; there is no greater love.
The parent instills confidence, at whatever age you are, advice or a word spoken by a parent makes you find your way, enlightens you.
In this case, the parent's experience and his or her knowledge of your personality give the parent the ability to help you even if only by saying a word.
Love, however, we can also find it in what we do, in the care and attention of the activities we do.
In this case it takes on a sublime meaning: it is love for ourselves because of the respect we bring to our person.
These are the words that for me have a true and deep meaning that is completely beyond the objective semantics of the words themselves.
Thanks to @Galenkp who with these contests of his makes us discover ourselves as well.
