Yesterday, I made authentic Goan vindaloo curry. I used a lot of different spices and noticed I was running low. So, today I went to a Pakistani Halal shop near a mosque in Fuku Machi, Nishiyodogawa Ku, Osaka. I stocked up on mustard seed, cinnamon sticks, bay leaves, fenugreek and whole black pepper. In the way home I stopped at a Oakistani cafe and had a cup of tea and kheer, which is a sweet and fragrant Pakistani cold rice pudding. I also bought some rose water.
