Hello soloescribe community, today I come with the intention of participating in the contest what is love, a challenge that I find interesting because this exercise I will try to define it through my experiences and reflections, without further introduction I continue.
What is love?
This past week has been celebrated the day of love and friendship, and thus summarize this day in one word would be love, it is like a hyperlink that leads us to sensitize us with the other, to celebrate sharing this feeling that personally I would not only summarize it in fraternal and sensitive feelings towards another person, there is something more, love is something generic, but what would be the essence of love, some would say it is the attachment to a person or object, others would say it is a feeling, a reaction to a stimulus, is to make up for a lack.
It is so difficult and at the same time so complex to talk about love, if we join the above mentioned statements, we could say that love can be all that together, however it is and at the same time it is not at all, we have concepts of love, we have notions of love, it is difficult for us to include love in a single category, the opposite happens if we include hate, or fear, we tend to categorize both feelings faster.
We could say that love is not only kissing the person you want as a companion of life, it is not only the feeling of a mother to a child, but there can also be love in the place where you are born, there is also love for animals, beings that in many cases and in the wild have no empathy with us, and the situation is that since we confuse love. Talking about animals, teaching a dog to paw as a sign of greeting, we consider that we do him a good, teaching a parrot to gesture words, we think that we do him a good because that way we feel attached to it, I mean by this that love is a subjective feeling.
Love is subjective, it leads me to think of Augusto Monterroso's story of the horses imagining God, in which the horses imagine God in the form of a rider, apart from the religious opinion, the metaphor for this case would be that what is attached to the spirit is often very abstract, reason why sometimes we have no definition or a concept that can only be defined with actions, once in a moment of low streak in my life, while working polishing a seed called amazon heart or heart of congolo I could think about the following:
The plant produces a pod in which contains seeds that can travel through the river and go through a number of adversities, only when it feels that it is in a favorable environment to grow is that its shell breaks to start growing, its seed phase can last for decades, waiting for the right time.
Just as the seed of congolo looks for the right moment, so our hearts open to what motivates us, love then for me is more than a feeling, I consider it a force, which is not only present in people, it is present in life itself, because love in the end what it seeks is to preserve life, We fall in love in order to seek stability and build a life project with another person we consider suitable, the same happens in animals, and we are immersed in a system called earth, and within this a solar system, which in turn is part of the galaxy and in turn of the rest of the universe.
When we say that God is love, it is not because we are obliged and condemned to obey his command, it is a force that forces us to do good to be at peace with ourselves and with our neighbors, whatever form of life it may be.
f you got to this point I hope you liked my reflection, on the contrary, I am also very happy because you took a moment of your life to read my perspective, I invite @irenenavarroart
@rossiocando . I thank you enormously, I hope to continue interacting with you, it will be until a next one.
