Last weekend I was talking to a colleague who told me that the last time she saw her family members was about five years ago and I asked her why , she said it is because she is very busy..
I told her that saying she did not see them for 5 years because she was very busy is an excuse which I find ridiculous except if her job is the type that makes her very far away from where they live, but where she works is at the same state where her family stays, and her work is only on Mondays to Fridays.. so I believe that should not stop her from seeing her family members for good five years.
From her response I got to realize that she does not really value her family that much or she does not see it as a big deal if she does not care to go and see her family members or invite them over to her place..
We should always learn to appreciate our family because they will always be there for us both in good and bad times, they will always be with us when the whole world is against us , they will always be our shield when we need protection , we can always run to meet them for comfort and get consoled.
Family is important and we should treat them with love and care and always be willing to spend time with them..
