Do you know a chocolate called Kinder Surprise? Well, in case you鈥檝e never heard of it, it鈥檚 a chocolate egg that comes with a mysterious little surprise inside, usually some kind of small toy. By the way, it鈥檚 one of my favorite chocolates, with milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and white chocolate. So you must be wondering, what does this have to do with the pictures? Well, back in the day, if you were lucky, you could get a little toy car like the one in the picture. It was one of those things many people wanted to get so they could collect them and play with them.
Yesterday, I was taking my son to his drum lesson and, a little further down the street from my house, there it was, this beautiful car, an MP Lafer. My neighbor, a very nice man who is around 80 years old, was sweeping the sidewalk when I walked by and said: "Look at that, I think Santa Claus left that present there for me. I鈥檓 not sure if it鈥檚 actually for me, because I looked around and couldn鈥檛 find the keys, but I鈥檒l keep sweeping the sidewalk, maybe he dropped them somewhere. "We had a good laugh about what he said, and then he looked at my son and added: "Hey young man, do you believe in Santa Claus? I still do to this day!"
We stood there talking for a little while, and I mentioned to him that this car, or one very similar to it, used to come in Kinder Surprise eggs back in the day and that, even though I sometimes go to classic car meets, I had never seen one of these up close. I certainly never imagined I would find one right there, almost in front of my own house! We admired the car for a while, and then I said goodbye because I was already running late for the lesson, which was supposed to start at 10 AM.
These are the kinds of things that happen by chance, a beautiful car and a conversation with such a nice neighbor, my son worried about being late for his lesson, me taking these pictures, and suddenly it all turned into a little story. Maybe these are exactly the kind of unexpected little moments that make our days more interesting. I left home just to take my son to his lesson and ended up finding a car that I only knew as a tiny toy, along with having a funny conversation with a neighbor who still believes in Santa Claus haha!!

Voc锚 conhece um chocolate que se chama Kinder Ovo? Pois bem, caso nunca tenha ouvido falar, 茅 um chocolate vendido em forma de ovo e que dentro dele vem um brinde misterioso, algum pequeno brinquedo. Por sinal, um dos meus chocolates favoritos, ao leite, chocolate preto e branco. Ent茫o voc锚 deve estar se perguntando, o que isso tem a ver com as fotos? Bem, no Kinder Ovo antigamente, se voc锚 tivesse sorte, tiraria uma miniatura de carro como essa da foto, era o que muitos queriam tirar para poder colecionar e brincar.
Ontem eu estava indo levar meu filho para a aula de bateria e um pouco depois da minha casa, estacionado ali, estava esse belo carro, um MP Lafer. Meu vizinho, um senhor muito simp谩tico de aproximadamente 80 anos, que estava varrendo a cal莽ada na hora que eu estava passando, disse: "Olha s贸, acho que o Papai Noel deixou esse presente a铆 para mim. N茫o sei se 茅 para mim, pois olhei por aqui e n茫o achei as chaves, mas vou continuar varrendo aqui a cal莽ada, vai que ele a deixou cair". Demos uma risada do que ele disse e ent茫o ele completou olhando para o meu filho: "Ei rapaz, voc锚 acredita em Papai Noel? Eu acredito at茅 hoje!"
Ficamos ali conversando um pouco e mencionei para ele que esse carro ( ou um parecido) vinha no Kinder Ovo antigamente e que, apesar de 脿s vezes ir em encontros de carros antigos, nunca tinha visto um desses de perto e nunca iria imaginar ter um desses aqui quase em frente 脿 minha casa! Admiramos o carro por um tempo e ent茫o me despedi, j谩 estava atrasado para a aula que iria come莽ar 脿s 10 horas.
S茫o coisas que acontecem por acaso, um belo carro e uma conversa com meu vizinho t茫o simp谩tico, meu filho ficou preocupado de perder a hora da aula, eu tirei essas fotos e ent茫o virou uma pequena hist贸ria. Talvez sejam justamente esses pequenos momentos inesperados que tornam os nossos dias mais interessantes. Eu sa铆 de casa apenas para levar meu filho para a aula e acabei encontrando um carro que eu conhecia apenas como uma pequena miniatura de brinquedo, al茅m de ter uma conversa divertida com um vizinho que ainda acredita no Papai Noel haha!!
