Allow Your Waters To Flow

Allow me to flow
for I am a water in a river,
Let me feel the bumps and the edges
even if it takes forever.

You want to stop me—save me(?)
How? By throwing some stones?
On the surface, it just caused ripples
that makes me groan.

Determined as you are,
you asked the wind to make me hush,
But what it did just pushed me—
Pushed me faster in a downward rush.

I know at the very beginning
that the end of the river is a waterfall.
So there's no point meddling,
and act like you can help my soul.

But you won't listen. Why wouldn't you?

You call all the nature’s forces,
so you can make me freeze and stop,
and then in a snap they turned me to Ice,
While I'm begging you—"please, enough."

Oh dear! What have you done,
haven't you heard the elder's advice?
Ice will always be scarier than fire,
for it can burn twice as nice.

There are things you'll never understand
even if you mean so well,
And now you wish...
you just have allowed me to flow and fell.
