Hi all...
In this rainy season, it is delicious to eat spicy or gravy and the food must be completely warm. In Indonesia, it is reported that in the future there will be extreme weather. it's been raining hard lately. So as smart as we are to keep our bodies healthy. Eat more nutritious and vitamin-rich foods. Because healthy is expensive.
Yesterday my family and I ate typical Jogjakarta food. So many people come to this restaurant. This restaurant is quite famous. Many people from outside the area who come here just to enjoy the food here. The name of the restaurant is SATE PAK PONG.
located in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Sate Pak Pong was founded in 1960. The recipe has been passed down from generation to generation.he said before he was famous, he used to sell around. Usually around every event such as a night market or a widescreen event. In 1997 he tried to open a small restaurant by renting a place. Finally his name began to be known by many people. In fact, now has 3 branches. Wow, cool
parking area is quite wide. fit for several cars for visitors who come by car.
This restaurant is never empty. always a lot of buyers. so delicious the food here. really didn't disappoint :)
Here I ordered a special menu. amoung others:
- Satay klatak
Satay klatak is goat satay originating from Jogjakarta. Why the name klatak? because the way the satay is burned is done openly. oh... what distinguishes sate klatak from satay in general is that satay klatak is usually served with curry which is rich in spices. I think the sate klatak is really good. The satay is also quite large. so yummy :)
- Tongseng
For some Indonesians, it is definitely no stranger to this one food. His name is Tongseng. a kind of curry but the seasoning is sharper. The difference is, tongseng is made using meat attached to the bone. Like the ribs and spine. Tongseng usually uses goat meat. However, in some restaurants there are also those that use beef. so for those of you who have high blood pressure, you can still enjoy tongseng with beef. The main ingredients of tongseng are meat, cabbage, tomatoes, shallots and garlic, curry sauce, sweet soy sauce, and pepper. Tongseng is perfect for the rainy season like now, because the air is cold so it can warm you up.
- Tengkleng
Tengkleng is a food originating from the city of Solo, Indonesia. Tengkleng is almost like goat curry, but the tengkleng sauce is usually more watery, some even have a little sauce. Tengkleng is a soup-type food whose main ingredient is goat.
- Tea Poci
In this modern era, there are various ways of serving tea. Some brew tea using bottles, some use modern teapots, and there are even sophisticated tea-serving equipment. Unlike the others, Tea Poci is served with a cangkir or a glass with a handle and a traditional tea poci. Tea poci is a tea that comes from Central Java. There is no doubt about the taste. When you drink it, your throat feels fresh.
this restaurant is very satisfying and does not disappoint. if i go to jogja again i will come here again. service is also good. all well prepared. I love Sate Pak Pong :)
