Letohrádek Hvězda, translated as Star Summer Palace, is one of beautiful spots in Prague hidden from massive tourist assault. Renaissance summer residence was build in the middle of game reserve, hunting place for royal family - now a beautiful city park.
Currently the palace hosts the Memorial of National Literature, including expositions about the history of the building and about the famous battle of White Mountain (1620, Bitva na Bílé hoře) which happened on the nearby fields.
