Mood swings, oh how they sway
From happiness to sorrow, night and day
One moment up, the next down low
I never know which way to go
Some days the sunshine warms my face
Other times, a storm clouds my place
But no matter the weather inside
I'll keep on moving, with courage and pride
For mood swings, they come and go
But I won't let them control the show
I'll ride the waves, and find my way
To a happier place, where I can stay
And when the clouds roll in again
I'll take a deep breath and start again
For mood swings, they are just a part
Of the journey that's called the human heart
So let the mood swings have their sway
I'll find my balance, come what may
For I am strong, and I will thrive
Even on the days when I don't feel alive
