It is advisable for us adult to respond and listen to teens who are depressed with patience and love. Children usually face discouragement, sometime they fear failure and we need to approach them with love and let them know that those things are temporarily.
Parents, guardians, teachers, and church leaders should listen carefully, show genuine love, encourage prayer, and remind them of God’s presence and care. When we face problems, as a christian we should go close to God and also direct the children to God.
To deal with depressed teens requires good attention, listen to their problems carefully and try to solve it if you csn. Prayer, Scripture, healthy relationships, rest, and a supportive family or church community can be helpful, while professional mental-health support should not be rejected when it is needed.
