I'm excited to be part of this @theycallmedan initiative, to share with you guys things I miss doing and things I will do when this pandemic and lockdown is over.
This pandemic has stopped me from doing the things I have been doing for myself. Things have deviated from the way it used to be; schools, ceremonies, markets, church amongst others has stopped till further notice.
Traveling
I miss traveling with my friends to other states, village and beautiful places.
This is when me and my friends travelled to the city of Port Harcourt for a church program. We had a great time there, we went to the sea - port, took pictures and saw many beautiful houses. I really miss all those times 🙈.
Going to school / Attending teaching seminars
I miss all those times we attend classes, go the library and laboratories, do assignments, attend seminars and workshops organized by my School's administration as per my teaching profession. It is always interesting as I do learn new things about the teaching profession as a would - be - teacher.
I miss my course mates and friends in other departments, I miss those times we sit down together to share ideas on some topics that some of us do not understand. I miss hugging them every morning, shaking hands and exchanging pleasantries.
Going to church
I miss going to church, sharing insights, studying the word of God, receiving biblical counseling and teachings and the inspiring, edifying and motivating messages by the pastor. I miss singing, dancing, shouting, clapping and rejoicing in the presence of the Lord.
Having fun
I miss those times I go out for sports, going to cinemas, celebrating birthdays, wedding ceremonies, going to eateries and strolling down the street, arguing and eating in each other's houses.
My teaching practice exercise
Before this pandemic, I was undergoing my teaching practice exercise in one of the popular schools in my State. I miss teaching my students, advising them, laugh with them, do sports with them and talking to them.
When this pandemic is over, I will complete my training on how to braid hairs, bake cookies, peanuts and cakes.
My earnest prayer is that this disease should be over so that I can do the things I need to do and so that things will go back to the normal way it use to.
Thank you
