This account was originally set up on Steemit in August 2016. Those were exciting times and we thought we were going to change the world by blogging.
Kiwi's took to Steemit like ducks to water and in the glory days (2017) there were 55 active Kiwi bloggers posting on Steemit. Not bad for a country of five million! So it seemed like a good idea to have an account (@mg-nz - Made Great - NZ) for following Kiwis and curating NZ content.
But in 2018 almost all of them quit posting on Steemit. And pretty much none of them have ever started posting on Hive. There are bugger all Kiwi's on Hive at the moment. It would be great to get a bunch of Kiwis posting again on Hive, and maybe that will happen again.
Recently I had a deranged idea that it would be good to encourage undervalued accounts on Hive by giving them some extra votes. I have never used this account on Hive before, and I have a bunch of other accounts I'm not using, so I'm going to begin setting them up to do some autovoting.
I have taken many thousands of photos of New Zealand. It's an awesome country, but over the past few years it's been sad to watch our economy and society being systematically destroyed by a traitorous enemy within - the NZ government is doing it's very best to wreck the place. I'm sure many other people in other countries can relate to that.
Picton is one of my favourite places, and I'm lucky enough to get to spend a lot of time there. It was sitting on the deck staring at this view and listening to the birds tweeting that I had this idea of doing some extra voting
Technologies like cryptocurrencies, block chains, and websites, can all be used for or against us, and Hive seems like one of things that could do a lot of good. I'm not very tech minded, but I figure another extra thing that might help Hive grow is more voting. Yes even if it is only autovoting. So I'm going to fire up my spare accounts and set them to work.
