🏆 Calling @3speak: Let's Sponsor a Prize Contest for Hivers to Test the New ADs! (+ My AD for Ca' Paradiso, Cagli)
Hello Hive friends, and hello @3speak team! 👋
Today I want to talk about something that really excited me: the new AD features on 3Speak. I've just tested them for the first time with my farm stay, Ca' Paradiso, and I have to say it: they're fantastic. 🎉
🎬 My first test: two official ADs of Ca' Paradiso, Cagli
To try the new features, I produced two promotional videos that will be the official 3Speak ADs for Ca' Paradiso, Cagli, our agriturismo in the green hills of Marche, Italy. Here it's one! 👇
🖥️ AD #2: Horizontal spot (15 seconds)
Timelapses of the valley, golden sunsets and a soundtrack inspired by Vivaldi's Four Seasons (Spring, Summer and Autumn).
These are two videos you'll see running as ADs for Ca' Paradiso, Cagli on 3Speak. Uploading them was quick and smooth, like everything on 3Speak lately. For a small business like mine, being able to promote my content directly inside the Hive ecosystem is a real game changer. My audience is already here: people who love nature, travel, authenticity and decentralization. 🌍
💡 Why ads on 3Speak matter for all of us
I think these ads can be a big step forward for the whole community:
- For creators and small businesses: a simple way to reach new viewers without depending on centralized platforms
- For 3Speak: a sustainable source of value that helps the platform grow
- For Hive: more real-world businesses discovering Web3, more quality content, more onboarding
- For viewers: ads made by the community, for the community, about real people and real projects
But a new tool only works if people actually try it. Many Hivers probably don't even know the ads exist yet, or they're unsure how to start. That's why I'd like to make a proposal. 👇
🏆 Proposal: a "3Speak ADs Challenge" contest
Dear @3speak team, what do you think about sponsoring a contest with prizes to encourage Hivers to test the new ads?
Here's an idea of how it could work. Of course, it's just a starting point to discuss together:
📋 How to participate
- Create a short promotional video (vertical or horizontal) for your own project, business, community or Hive initiative
- Publish it on 3Speak and run it as an ad using the new AD features
- Write a Hive post telling your experience: how you made it, how easy it was, what results you saw
- Use a common tag, for example #3speakads, and leave the link in the contest post
🎁 Possible prizes
- HIVE / HBD prizes for the best ads
- Free ad credits on 3Speak for the winners, so the cycle continues!
- Special visibility: the winning ads featured on the 3Speak homepage or official channels
- A participation reward (even small) for everyone who completes the challenge
⭐ Possible categories
- 🏡 Best small business ad (farms, shops, artisans, B&Bs...)
- 🌐 Best Hive community / project ad
- 🎨 Most creative ad
- 📊 Best report: the most useful post about results and lessons learned
🗳️ Judging
A small jury made up of the 3Speak team plus a couple of community members, maybe combined with community votes on the entries.
🤝 What we all gain
A contest like this would:
- ✅ Give 3Speak real feedback from many users in a short time
- ✅ Create dozens of tutorials and testimonials spread across Hive
- ✅ Bring new businesses and creators into the ecosystem
- ✅ Show the world that Hive has a working, decentralized video advertising system 💪
