We were having such a good time that we went into overtime basically doubling the shows length as we continued to wrestle societal norms to the ground and demanding answers... "why are you like this ?!?!?!"
Jokes aside, what i love about the company kept on the show is the ability to have open discussions about taboo topics and flesh out concepts/ ideas about what we see happening in the real world. This is fundamental principal of gaining understanding... presenting data, dissecting it and entertaining concepts or ideas based on this information.
During he conversation taking place in the "after party" segment (not sure if it was recorded or not), we touched on men and women's rights activism, subjects along the lines of the differences between Feminism and Feminazis, being a gentleman and misogyny, some anecdotal tales , some experimental data, etc. as well as some "understandings" based on what i have recently learned about the MGTOW movement.
Much of my commentary on the subject was based on the residual data which i discovered when writing an article a couple of weeks ago entitled Women Abusing Men Is Normalized In Our Society.
The crux of the discussion is that there is concept that "all men are evil/bad" and they all need to change their ways. According to people who claim to represent modern feminism (feminazi's) all MEN are the problem, this concept is something which has been gaining momentum over a considerable amount of time and media has been supporting/promoting this concept not only in Australia but around the world.

Start At The Beginning
So where to begin? well as i stated in the "after party show", this issue has been present for some time, while it may have gone under the radar unchecked, it has grown significantly over time. We can dial back the clock a little bit and see from this lecture/interview/book signing etc. , Apparently from 2001, that the "war on boys" has been around for a while.
There has been considerable reinforcement of this message in the media during that time. The Gillette advertisement focusing on "male toxicity" is recent and attracted attention on a more global scale, but there are a number of Australian television ads for domestic violence which have depicted men/boys as seriously messed up individuals as part of their core being. While the advertisements may have good intentions of reducing domestic violence it is at the expense of men, and particularly white men... because we wouldn't want to add racism to sexism now would we....? that's too many "isms" to deal with at once.
Moving on we have another clip selected from Australian television, as this was the basis of the investigation. Here we see the Australian morning show called "Sunrise" which is part of the major broadcasting television networks of Australia.
If you like drama then this clip is for you... realistically it is an absolute "shit show", but it is a display of the current climate of the situation. You will note that the two "more neutral parties" in the conversation are well dominated by the extremists on the panel. Further, the hosts (well one in particular) seem more than happy to "get personal" and try tip the scales supporting the media agenda.
However, what this shows is that there is no concern for the adverse effects of campaigns painting all men as "having toxic masculinity", the mainstream adoption of this concept supported by media, and of course that television broadcasting is more concerned about "selling the drama", than having a open discussion which leads to better understanding of whats going on... but its more data on the topic at least.
Bettina Arndt reiterates a number of the points being made during the Coffee and Philosophy show about the increasing complexity of interaction between the sexes, this has been her field of expertise and focus for decades as a psychologist and writer. Many of the views discussed on the show reflect current climate of the situation, rules of engagement, conflicts etc. which are here seen supported by Bettina Arndt's work.
The Prelude To A Kiss
So... now that we have established the ground work identifying the issue's existence and its prevalence through out society for a number of years to decades, and that its occurrence is not particularly isolated, where do we go from here?
Well... here we have the pivotal point of the article, the punchline of the joke, the pinnacle of pinnacles... and so now we will take a good look at exactly how logic strips this construct down, with a great amount of comedy and laughs.... im sure to save from crying.
Honestly, these last two individuals here are absolute legends and i definitely recommend checking out their other works on similar topics and the rest of their content because they are quite entertaining , and are in my opinion friggen awesome.
Sydney Watson
First up we have Sydney Watson rolling in with her commentary on the situation that "all men are evil". Ah, yes, nothing like watching a good tear down on what feminism "actually" stands for in contemporary society, the agenda being laid out and how it operates. The fact that Sydney Watson is a woman just makes it all the more difficult for feminists to point and say what they would of an equivalent male counterpart...
Isaac Butterfield
And now the male counterpart... Saving the best for last with Isaac Butterfield, this bloke manages to hit almost every point we discussed on the show and add a few more interesting ones to the mix. Not only does he mange to do this in a comedic fashion, but he does it in the most Aussie way possible.... that is with a metric crap tonne of swearing and bluntness.... because Straya.
Conclusion
The problem we face here is not an uncommon one, we have two extremes waging war against one another and its those of us in the middle getting hit in the crossfire. However, it is the media intervention and support of the particular narrative that "all men a evil and bad" which is perpetuating the ongoing problem here.
This "idea" that all men are evil is being repeated enough and over duration of time is sticking. When government advertising, news outlets, televised media, social media, universities, etc. begin to create the consensus supporting the concept, is there any question that there would be real world repercussions from this action ? it just makes sense right ?
But here is where it gets interesting , because people who are brave enough to logically challenge this concept are automatically seen as being offensive, rude , aggressive and as "part of the problem". How dare anyone challenge the status quo, present data, and have a discussion about the perceived reality being put forward?
We live in a outrage society, and that seems to take precedence over any kind of logic of factual information, where any kind of interaction can be seen a offensive and speaking can be considered as "violence" and "physically harming" to an individual. We cling to our perspectives and feel assaulted by any challenge to that reality we have created for ourselves, and while this may not be true of every person, the people who do take this line of thought have a platform to speak, they are the forefront of what is seen on our tv screens and media coverage... and as such it is seen as the "social norm".
Not every man is a villain and not every woman is a femiazi, but these are the roles we are having thrust upon us by the powers that be... and for the most part the sheeple and normies are falling for it, they are taking the bait hook, line and sinker. While we may dismiss these situations/individuals as "just a minority" and not something to be concerned about, the lack of push back is what is creating an environment for this concept to thrive as "the norm".
This is just another form of division, another bone of contention to be picked and squabbled over. What we fall into is the identity politics of living in a modern society, where we all have the right to be offended over the smallest thing and offend others to any extent due to our offendedness.
We would be awry to not mention that there is a degree of "one upmanship" going on here, there is the sensation that either males or females are the "greater victim" here, again something i covered in the aforementioned article i wrote leading to this article, but that is not what we are talking about here.
What we are trying to get to is that this kind of nonsense IS going on and that it is being supported by media/ governing bodies etc. Further, projecting into the future we may see some radical changes in the landscape due to this perspective being more widely adopted... not that we haven't already in some cases. but...
Imagine , if you will, a world where everyone is scared of everyone because they are male or female, people being scared to speak or interact from fear of offending or being offended... people needing to make sure they don't directly look at each other as it may be considered some form of assault. And yes, i know, these are "extremes" but looking through the data, there are examples of this mentality not only being put forward, but being accepted... marching ever closer to installation of the "Thought Police" to keep us safe from one another... and ourselves.
