Today I was trying to explain to Jade what is a blockchain and how it works.
Jade just discovers that The EU (Europe Union) have encouraged the use of blockchain even for government organisations.
For Jade and for millions, blockchains are linked to Bitcoin and Institutions like Government or banks always tell them: beware of Internet. As bitcoin and blockchain are on the Net, most of people will tell you: “Bitcoin I am not interested”.
I bet that most people will wait for their government green light before take a closer look at blockchains…
During the conversation, I was explaining to her that with the blockchain system we don’t need a third party like a bank, a solicitor or even a government in order to authentificate a event or a transaction.
One of her first reaction was: “Why I should believe your databases, or some corporate one instead of the Government?”
