Sitting on my rock, this is one of the most important days that we have to teach our children that it is Passover.
Why?
Can you imagine if Jesus decided to turn around and not finish his suffering for us, we would all be lost?
This is so important for children should know the story, and realise that their purpose in life is to be so thankful that he kept his promise.
So today, it is important to teach children that if you make a promise you should never break it.
Rather do not promise anything, if you think you cannot, as not keeping a promise is very bad.
No matter what happens, if you promise someone something, it must be kept.
That is why we are able to become free, from our sins.
If Jesus did not keep his word, we would have been lost forever.
Teach your children how important it is to keep their word.
Because if they do not there will be consequences in life not just to them, but other people as well.
It is not easy to be a parent, but being a good parent is hard work.
If we do this work right, life would change all over the world for everyone.
These children that we teach about life will go on and become real wonderful humans who just carry on and teach their children.
If this was at all possible it would feel nearly like heaven on earth.
We know it is not possible as we read the papers and see all these incredible bad things happening in the world.
I mean here an old lady who survived the holocaust has just been murdered.
What is happening in this world of ours?
There are so many atheists in the world and it is scary.
How can anyone believe in nothing? My wife wrote a post a while ago about Yaroslavsky who was president of the International Atheists and they say that the last words he ever said before he died were “Please, burn all my books. See the Holy one! He’s been waiting a long time for me; He is here!”
I do not think that we can find more truth, than from a dying man or person as they know it is now or never.
I do not think there is a parent who wants to live with the fact or idea that their child did not know what was right.
Jesus himself called out to His father hanging on the cross, and we know it is never too late as the man on the other cross asked him if he would forgive his sins. Jesus said today you will be with me in the house of my father.
It is never too late to beg for forgiveness.
We must teach our children this and try to help them to stay on the right path.
I know I am writing about religion again today, but it is such an important day in all our lives that it is impossible not to do so.
Hope you have a wonderful day.
God bless here from the Wild Coast.
