I woke up yesterday at 5am with the intention of doing one last hike before returning home. The skies looked inviting. However, when I checked the weather radar, I simply turned to the other side on my bed. A huge front was coming my way, dotted with thunderstorms. One hour later it was a downpour of water that lasted 2hrs. We ate breakfast, packed and drove 400km home.
Back at home I went for my standard ice cream walk by the riverside. Sunday ended my vacation- back to normal work and life.
