When I drove in the morning to pick up my Dad, all was white. Including the roads. Driving on a highway with 3 lanes in each direction, only the rightmost was passable and yet I kept to 70-80km/h.

When we finished church around midday, the snow was vanishing by the minute. At 4pm I walked 5km for the Christmas Eve dinner at my Mom-in-law’s and it was raining. When I was returning home around 8pm, no snow was left.

I am going Hiking tomorrow and I hoped it would be wonderfully white Christmas. Now I more expect water and mud, especially in the lower parts. At 1100m asl there still should be snow, though.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
