Having spent the last night in a mountain shelter, making it for the sunrise viewed from 1117m a.s.l. was easy. I enjoyed the precious moments. Alone up there.
My planned route for the day had been 22km, mostly descending. On my 13th kilometre I was supposed to meet 3 friends who would arrive by train to join my hike.
However, they argued that hiking just 10km on such a beautiful day would be pointless. Ok, I agreed to hike some more with them. They ended up having hiked some 17km and for me it meant crossing the 50k steps line. For the first time this year.
