Cumulus. My Actifit Report Card: July 5 2023

My plan had been to reach today’s target at @poprzeczka -35k steps. Difficult, as I spent the day on trains and in airplane. It seemed possible in the morning but then a technical failure of my aircraft and the beautiful cumulus pictured above interfered with my plans.

First a big flight delay stole part of my day. I did some gate walking, but dragging a trolley in the crowded Frankfurt airport limited my stepping activity.

Still, when flying home, I thought I would do the missing steps in the evening. Then came the clouds. They looked nice from 10 000 meters. But once I landed, they brought a thunderstorm. I had about 12k steps when I ended my trip. Doing 23k more (= 3.5hrs of walking…) in a heavy rain is no fun and I dropped my plan.

This will be a good news for @cezary-io and @racibo, who will now compete for the June title. The latter is the admin of the contest, but he hasn’t won yet. So the 25th edition might be his moment or glory.
