At my place the last couple of days have been bleak, gray and rather depressing. Yesterday I drove 120km to hike in a small mountain range at 800-900m a.s.l. And I found myself in a beautiful winter land worlds apart.
Temp slightly above 0°, clear blue skies and our path and trees covered with immaculate white snow.
This photo reveals the secret. See the fog below mountains? For people who don’t feel like moving, the day was cloudy and nasty. But it only takes minimal effort to get above the clouds and enjoy a perfect sunny day.
