I had expected and prepared for a day of hiking in rain. The weather was however gracious for the first part of our 22km and 1100m total elevation gain hike. Cloudy at the beginning and even sunny on our first summit.
About 4hrs into the hike it started to rain. It wasn’t the expected downpour, though. It rained persistently for another 4 hours and we did get soaked, but with temperature around 18° and no wind, it was quite pleasant.
We had a mixed PL- UA group. Age-wise - from early 20s to late 60s. No one had known all the other before the hike, yet the group vibes were excellent.
