Hi everyone! My name is Mers and I´m a newbie on Steemit....am glad to be here.
Hope to meet everyone who are also keen on homemaking, cooking and gardening and photography. In general, I´m a what you can call a foodie and crafter by heart. I left my corporate world last year and divide my time between Vienna and Andalucia... A self introduction will follow soon.
FIRST POST
It´s this time of the year when a lot of birds are chirping , tweeting and singing. You can hear them early morning in our area and sometimes throughout the day. Poor birds because we are confronted with lots of rains these days. But, the farmers need the rain. Only thing is... too much rain damages the crops and the flowers . I love to pick wildflowers and create beautiful floral arrangements . Also, it´s fun to think what the outcome would be for flowers picked for the day.
On a day like this.... we must go out rain or shine everyday to walk Lily. She is mom in-law´s princess a 6 year-old chihuaha. Such walk with the dog gets me to move, go out into the fields to have fresh air and at the same time collect wildflowers for my vases.... and here, an example of of that wildflowers I picked . As I have few collected vases, I sometimes match them with the colors of the flowers...
