the top of the hill in Larvik is covered with a wonderful beech forest. it's a popular destination for a pleasant stroll with each season having it's own charm. while these reflection shots were taken in spring just as the leaves were budding and the ground was covered with windflowers, the summer forest is a lush green and being cool and shady it's a great spot to get out of the heat. when the autumn leaves turn golden brown and fall the ground gets covered in a thick layer of leaves as the tops become bare in the crisp air. then winter snows change the scene into a magical shining delight.
anyway there's a road that separates the city form the edge of the forest. it's free to park there long term so in addition to all those who are out walking some folks in need of parking more than a couple of hours in the city avail themselves of the opportunity to place their vehicle there. on a sunny day, being right at the edge of the forest the cars, even the dirty ones reflect the nearby trees. since it was early spring there weren't many leaves so mostly trunks and branches were reflected. now there were decent reflections in the glass windows of the different cars but these on the rear body of this black tesla were something else.
