The last week of October rain was slow down and started sunshiny days. we took that opportunity to explore in the nature. That brought relief from the stifling tension in both body and mind. two days before we visited Bøkeskogen and spent few beautiful Golden hours.
Hello, friends nature lovers and community greetings! I hope you all are doing well and having a nice time with your loved ones.
When we are busy we just visit places around us. Mostly walking in the nature is the best part of it. We are blessed with nature.
The September October was disappeared by rainy, cloudy, and windy weather. Every day's rain and cold windy weather. It is nice to have rain after dry summer. But the weather wasn't very comfortable to walk or take any photos
Many times I wrote about the Bøkeskogen a national reserved forest in Larvik, Vestfold county Norway. The place is popular in locals because it the best area we can freely stroll around without time limits. Any season spring or summer autumn or Winter gives a unique touch (But rainy and windy not pleasant for walking in forest) on these beautiful birch tree forest.
Entering in the forest was like we were any magical world. A dense deciduous forest in autumn with trees covered in yellow, golden, brown, gray and ochre foliage, and a thick carpet of , earthy-yellow, golden-brown, or muted orange-yellow fallen leaves on the ground.
The toll tree tops trying to touch blue sky and those colors of golden leaves, branches with brown bark on the blue canvas making The beautiful paintings amazing.
Walking through fallen leaves on the many paths. some of dried some are newly fallen, green, yellow, brown, and golden colors on gray asphalt remaindering me a poem I learnt about nature in my school time. find the extraordinary painter who creates a picture on this canvas of the Earth? how do these colors he creates?
Walking to the edge of fence showing the Larvik fjord like a frame work.
While standing on the edge of fence, beyond the road we can see the downtown. the Larvik harbor, and Larvik fjord. The most advantage of this place is easy accesses.
Compared to previous years the forest is sparse. Last year's
AMY hurricane still reminding that devastation. I remember this big tall tree was standing very proudly in the center of forest last summer and now it remain a dead trunk.
Until last year, these forest were densely packed with birch trees; however, making it truly beautiful. The enchanting transformation it undergoes with each season was—and still is—a magical display of nature. last year's Amy hurricane left them badly devastated. Even today, the massive, fallen trees serve as a stark testament to that violent display of nature’s fury. Still place to place we can see logs from fallen tree as well as some mess around.
This year we noticed some beautiful things, different types of mushrooms. We often enjoy the walk and physical activities, natures beauty, and lots of nature photography but never been saw lot of mushrooms here. There were some edible mushrooms but they were rotten and fully soaked in rain. some photos I saved to post in fungi-Friday community.
As the shorter days the sun was lower down and started its bright golden rays all around the north side. Suddenly all bushes and trees became golden all leaves were shining and the extra ordinary display around the whole forest.
Actually I don't wanted to leave the place but?
We are human and hungry stomach started complaining to get home. Admiring the beautiful nature we left the forest, thanks for those most beautiful golden hours we spent there.
That was the unforgettable best part of this visit.
Thank you!
