@olgavita, How's it going?
Do you like raspberries? I really, really love raspberries. They were my favorite berry in childhood and still are now.
As a child, I always picked all the raspberries in the forest; there were no raspberries in our garden. Actually, we picked all the berries in the forest; practically no one had berry bushes at home.
The taste of wild raspberries cannot be compared to a garden berry.
I currently live near a forest, so it's only 20-30 meters from my raspberry bushes to the edge of the forest. But there are no berries in this forest, no... no, I'm lying! There are a lot of wild strawberries growing in the forest and meadow here. But I love raspberries more, so I even planted bushes on the edge of the forest.
One day I picked up a raspberry, looked at it, and thought, I'm going to make a small mirror out of my second phone and use a raspberry as a model. This berry is not only delicious, but also beautiful. Yellow and red. I was also offered black raspberries, but I didn't like the taste of them.
It was the first harvest this year. I crushed the berries, sprinkled them with granulated sugar, put them in plastic containers, and put them in the freezer.
In winter, the berries are usually taken out of the freezer when the children come to visit us and eaten with pancakes.
In order for a lot of raspberries to grow, it is necessary to take care of this in the fall. We need to properly trim the tops of the young shoots and remove the old shoots. This is the most important part of raspberry pruning.
