Having favourites when it comes to music isn't my thing at all, or maybe it is though because I do come across songs I play over and over again without realising that I've listened to them too much. I've been listening to music for as long as I can remember and I've made lots of artist my favourite because I fell in love with a song of theirs.
But today, here I am declaring another artist as my favourite (I wonder how long this one will last 😅) what I'm sure of now is that I love the songs from this artist, all the songs I've listened to and how I got to know about her is the least way I had ever thought.
I hardly check my Tiktok account but I did a few weeks back and I came across a cover of one of her songs. I didn't know I was seeing the video over and over until a few days later when the song popped up in my head.
I tried humming what was playing in my head and I was smiling and loving the sound, I decided to find the video again and get the song downloaded... And that was it!

I got a new favourite artist who happened to be Tatae McRae, a 19 years old Canadian singer, songwriter, dancer and an actress... She's so many things at such a young age, really cool but that isn't what made her favourite.
It's all about the music and her voice on every song she releases. I won't say much, you just have to listen to three of her songs that have won my heart since recently. And I hope 
Friends don't look at friends that way
This was the song that led me to finding out about this amazing artist. I kept humming a line of the song until I realized it was from the song I couldn't stop listening to on tiktok. I downloaded this song and it has been on repeat countless times in just the few days I had it on my playlist.
While searching for it on you tube, I saw video covers of the song with some acting to it... It was so emotional and I loved the feeling I get from listening and watching. So you might want to visit you tube for more covers of this sing, you'll love it (maybe)
You Broke Me First
And surprisingly I've come across this song of hers before especially with covers on Hive Open Mic but never knew she was going to be my favourite artist today 😅 I liked this song of hers but felt it wasn't my kinda song since it was about break up.
Listening to it again when I made her my favourite artist changed that thought, I love her voice on the song. She sounds really different, maybe her accent has something to do with it (I love it anyways).
She's all I wanna be
Oh great! I also found this song cover on tiktok and I loved it but not so much until I saw she was the one behind the song 😅 even though the lyrics may seem a bit off from what I normally love to listen to... The song got so much vibe and I love vibe songs.
Tatae McRae is a beauty, she's got a very good voice, her choreography in her videos are amazing (love how she twist her body) and she has a rare kind of pop music which I can't help but loving them all.
I'm still finding out more of her songs and maybe I'll share more on next Tuesday. But for now, I'll keep enjoying my favourite artist and her songs until I find another.
