I'm so happy I'm able to submit an entry for this week's theme once again, I had given up on sending in an entry as I thought it was too late but I got motivated again by my sister to submit one even though it gets in late and here it is.
The theme is a good one and I didn't think much on the song to take as I got reminded immediately of one of my favourite gospel song I learnt some time ago for an online singing competition. It is my winning song and I thought I should share it for this theme too.
Not just a winning song for me, it also portrays the theme very well. Preparing and finally singing the song wasn't so difficult for me as I've practiced too much for it before so it kinda got stuck in my head. It's been a while I sang it though but I guess my love the song still holds stronger.
"I will praise you in the storm" by Natalie Grant is a song about how firmly one can stay in believing (trusting) God no matter what the situation is (no matter the storm one faces). I've seen and heard of a lot of difficulties that people face in life but not so many stays strong enough to trust in God that He would save them out of it.
It is one difficult thing to trust so much but with God, I believe it is easy but temptations follows and one could feel shaken to stop trusting Him. I won't say I'm the best at trusting the Almighty but I'm doing the best I can to do that much as I don't even have any other to trust anyways.
