@papauri in his publication makes us a recommendation towards that treatment that we must have with the little ones. Sometimes we think that everything has been said and that everyone behaves as they should in their role as parents.
Being parents as they say over there is a continuous learning, manual about this is inexistent, by observation or own experience with our parents and how they acted with us we consider that this is the way, something that we are discovering with the passing of the years, we realise that when we were children it was a different time, we were the children and so we assumed what our parents said, how they treated us etc, it was their way because maybe they did it too, their manual came to be that of how they were educated.
Seen in this way, in my moment of orienting mine I avoided doing things or having actions that mine had towards me; or by readings done following theories of researchers I took into account these recommendations. Something that was not so simple, we are human beings, as it has already been said and it has been proved, we are unique and the way of being of each one of us, even if we are from the same parents, differs from the others.
Some are quieter, others more explosive, others more independent. In these cases, the number of children to look after and guide was also a determining factor. Sometimes it was considered utopian to be reflective...they were rather impulsive, and just by saying the full name we were right on the spot. In those moments we listened.
New generations, or we are more attentive to how we act to seek balance in coexistence, it seems that we are too reflexive in some cases and the impulsive is sometimes left aside.
At the moment I don't have children, I don't know how I would behave with children under 10 if I would be impulsive or reflexive, I went a bit of both with mine in those times of children and adolescents so as not to fall into conflict situations, sometimes the occasion led me to it.
At first I was gentle with the conversation, but when I didn't see the result, the impulse increased and it seems that there came a moment when, wham, the colours went up because I didn't feel the expected response.
I think that in the process of our children's growth there are several conditions and elements that come together, sometimes the work activities, the attention to them caused us some stress that led us to be impulsive when we did not see the expected or desired response when as parents we felt that we were doing it the best way. They as children may not have understood this and acted as if they were not held to standards, discipline, accountability at home.
Raising my voice seemed to make them react. I avoided being like that. I always wanted to be thoughtful. Maybe I was when they were growing up, realising the importance of home education. That way of observing the children without acting and then come here, let's have a chat happened when they were older.
The advice can be many, although both processes can be given by the time things happen. As parents sometimes we are so loaded with so many things and that world is so congested that the impulse is the one that stands out.
It is achieved if, without the people around you judging you and telling you to act like this or not. Those around us should just observe without judging, because every parent has his or her own way.
The ideal is to be reflective in the face of so many daily situations.
