What Are Anti-Blue Light Glasses?
Anti-Blue Light Glasses are glasses that helps to block high energy light(HEV) that emits from the sun, bulb lights and our electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, TVs and PCs. Yeah, you read right. The sun emits blue light, in fact, the sun is the largest producer of blue light and that's why when it is very sunny, you can not look straight at the sun, you try to wear a shade or cap, to help prevent direct sun contact to your eyes. Sun is a natural blue light while our electronic devices are artificial blue lights which are weaker than the Sun's blue light. So, we literally get in contact with blue light everywhere, from our light bulbs, to our electronic devices and then sun. Since, blue lights have some bad effects to our eyes, the need to protect ourselves from blue light can not be overemphasized. Thus, the need to get Anti-Blue Light Glasses, as it will help us block/prevent blue light from getting to our eyes.
For those who might not want to read through the Part 1 or Part 2. I just think they should have the understanding of what Anti-Blue Light Glasses mean.

Blue lights can disrupt our sleep. Sometimes, you might be wondering why haven't you fallen asleep yet, it maybe as a result of too much exposure to blue light at evening time. Normal animals, and not the nocturnal animals, you will notice that they do fall asleep as soon as the night comes. Animals, such as chickens, cows, goats and so on. But if these animals are exposed to blue lights, they hardly fall asleep easily. Same thing applies to us, humans. Before the advancement in technologies, when we had no smartphones, smart TVs, amazing blue lighting bulbs, we normally sleep quite early. Whereas nowadays, sleeping by 11pm seems early.

How does blue light disrupt our sleep? Blue light regulates our circadian rhythm. Our circadian rhythm is our natural body's clock, that tells us when we should sleep and when we should wake. In other words, our circadian rhythm is our body’s natural wakefulness and sleep cycle. The blue light regulates our circadian rhythm by making us awake and alert. That's why, when someone open the curtains, your body tells you it is time to wake up. Or when someone switches on a bright blue light bulb, while you are sleeping, your body will signal you, it is time to wake up. As some of you already know, the sun is major producer of blue light, that's why we are more awake during the day. As night begins to set, the sun starts to fade away, our body will automatically starts secreting melatonin, a hormone that indicates sleep time. But blue lights do suppress the secretion of melatonin, which therefore makes it difficult for us to sleep. Doctors and health experts always advice us to put away our smart devices hours before bed in order to have a proper sleep. They say that, because of what blue light does to us. It affects our circadian rhythm and keeps us awake. But thanks to Anti-Blue Light Glasses, which helps shield us against blue lights, hence, promoting a better and sound sleep for us. At night, always put on your Anti-Blue Light Glass whenever you want to use your smart devices, in order to have a proper night rest after you are done using your smart devices.
