I saw someone laughing at Elon over the implosion of Tesla’s stock. I mean, I do not know exactly what is causing it, but I would not go as far as to say that his twitter venture is laterally destroying his other business ventures per say.
Some miss the point.
There are extreme positions on both sides here. There are some who believe that Elon is literally Tony Stark (smartest human in the marvel universe), and that he alone can take us to the promised land, and there are others who give him absolutely no credit and think he is as stupid as it gets.
Both sides, in my opinion, are missing the point altogether….
He’s good at getting things happening. Getting the ball rolling, making the connections, getting government grants, investors, that is his talent. He’s not an engineer, not a coder, not an astronaut and certainly not the second coming of Nicola Tesla.
Elon is not an inventor.
I’m surprised people don’t know this already, but he did not come up with the electric car, it existed long before he was even born. He’s the one that revived it, made it to where people believed it would be cool to drive one, it would be best to own one.
Why is he flopping?
I can’t quite put my finger on it to be honest, but I suspect foul play here. It seems he’s been gathering a long list of enemies lately, and that there is a considerable group of powerful people who would love to see him in the streets asking for spare change.
To me, the price of TSLA stock makes no sense. I’m tempted to jump in, but I know better than to chase valuations in the stock market. I think it will recover, but I’m not trying to be in the radar of the IRS these days.
The better question is… Will this Bankrupt him?
I don’t think so. I would be blown away if the “richest man on earth” doesn’t have multiple golden parachutes for any happenstance. That being said, I can see Tesla, the company, going under.
Their balance sheet can’t be looking too good at the moment, and who knows what their earning reports will do to the current price. Just this month it’s gone down 60+ additional dollars and It’s literally mind blowing to see it happening so quickly.
