Jan, along with Starkerz and others, have made it a mission to travel around south america teaching and preaching this developing technology.
He travels, goes to events, hands out cards, onboards businesses and actually puts the thing in people's hands. HiveDebit is his attempt to bring the convenience of modern fintech payments to Hive, using NFC and a familiar tap-to-pay experience while Hive does the crypto heavy lifting underneath. The project now has Android and iOS apps, and has already made the jump from proof of concept to real-world use, including a successful implementation at the Del Lago Hotel in Guatemala, owned by 
Jan is one of those Hivers who seems to have decided that the best way to test an idea is to get on a plane and go break it in the real world. 😂
