Apparently last night, Trump decided it would be a swell idea to share an AI generated video of his vision for Gaza. This odd video, featuring bearded women, Musk eating lobster, and other oddities, was deployed as the perfect smoke screen for what really happened yesterday. And you know; It worked.

As you would expect, people are defending this, praising it even, because nothing says peace more than taking people's land and making a casino out of it.

But, as I said in the beginning, this video, this troll move, is not what we should be focusing on right now. We should be talking about what actually happened yesterday.

Behind the smoke screen

Politicians, as they usually do, have to pay back the favors they own. And yesterday, they did just that. Passing tax legislation that helps only those at the top of the food chain.

It's hard to imagine the amount of suffering cutting these essential programs is bound to cause, but then again I'm sure to those drafting the laws, even if it could be measured, it would not matter.

Listen, before somebody thinks I'm jumping on the defend the status quo again. I'm all for cutting taxes, as I think we all should be, but it matter who is getting the better deal, right?

Just like that....

You and I just got our taxes raised, isn't that fun?
