I'm reading a lot of negative sentiment online at this very moment. It seems that the recent spike of BTC has not in any way sparked other runs, and it's making the speculators doubt their horse picks.

The good

If you are holding BTC right now, you might be in a powerful position to get some really cheap altcoins in the near future. As more of the stupid money capitulates and begins to chase BTC, because they want some of those gains, the altcoins will bleed further and thus the discounts will become epic.

I'm sure some microcaps will end up dying, but such is the circle of crypto life, and there's nothing anyone can do about it. In the almost three years I've been participating of this space, I've already seen countless projects die off, it doesn't bother me one bit.

The bad

Some of the crypto personalities on twitter are beginning the FUD. I suspect they are playing the psychological warfare game here. More so because they know capitulation of alts is around the corner and they are trying to scoop up some cheap coins.

If you follow the usual suspects on twitter, the duck, the cat, cobain, etc. You will notice how their cynicism has peaked in the last few days, and I don't think it's anything else but an act.

The ugly

BTC dominance keeps on climbing but not the overall marketcap for all cryptos. At least not in a significant way, and this just means that not enough "new blood" is entering the space. The true bull run for alts won't start until that changes, and the dominance of BTC goes down significantly.

Yes, it angers maximalists, but it's precisely how it's happened before. Let's not forget that at a point in time BTC was only 30% or so of all cryptocurrencies, and this was the very reason for the 10x gains we all loved. With a BTC over 50% the numbers won't add up.

Best advice I can give you, use your head, don't get emotional about this.
