Few days ago the BTC price was at 70k, as always this got people bullish and someone other people were ignorantly saying that the bottom was in. It literally didn't make sense for the "bottom to be in" simply because of so many reasons.
That first is that it's not that time of the market, secondly it should be doing so at 35 to 40k, thirdly it's march of 2026, BTC doesn't bottom at this stage, fourth, the market is currently unstable and so it is inevitably going to dump further.
There's currently nothing that points to BTC hitting a bottom at this stage of the market except pure speculation and I wonder why people would think so.
However BTC at 66k is currently very respectable, apart from alts getting destroyed again, it's still not a bad price point.
This is actually the first time we're getting it at 66k after it's hovered from 68k to 74k, and after weeks of going back and forth, it finally gets into the 66k range which I've actually been predicting for while.
I still continue to believe that we will get that massive dump and even though the dump doesn't happen right away. Also the dump might not be as instant and sharp, maybe a slow and steady bleed that is almost not noticeable, or we get a black swan event that basically dumps the market.
I think a lot of people don't care anymore about the market simply because the just concluded cycle didn't really end the way we all expected it to. However one of the reasons why I'm paying attention to the when BTC bottoms is because this is why entry opportunities are going to be created.
While nobody wants to experience the frustration and lack of interest that comes with a bear market, this is actually the accumulation phase.
For example, I already have in mind the coins I'd like to buy when the bottom hits even though I don't have enough money at the moment.
Also the market bottoming means everyone gets to be hopeful that it'll (the market) will begin to go back up but 66k to 40k is still a long way, and this might slowly bleed till the of the years.
We saw that BTC pumped a lot and alts never did the same. Of course while most alts are already at -98% whole BTC is at 66k, imagine BTC hitting 40k.
Some times back I was wondering if BTC would dump without alts dumping a lot since a lot of them are already at -98%, but the recently dumps of alts while BTC moved from 74k to 66k have convinced me otherwise: alts are going to dump massively and even more than BTC.
I'm prediction another -50% till the end of the year. This means it might just get scarier, but for now, we just have to watch and wait.
I talked to some about my price prediction of some certain crypto and they were really disturbed, but one thing I told them is that we're going to get a lot of massive rebound in 20 to 24 month's time.
The worst is at the corridor even if the prices (of BTC) corrects a little, it's only going to be one step forwards, and two steps backward.
Do you think there will be a recovery to 70k?
