Hello!
This is my entry to the Show Us Your California contest by 
One of the things, if not the main thing, that I like about Southern California is the weather. It's a semi-arid climate, dry air, not too hot in the summer, mild and not too cold winters. Rain is very infrequent, so we get a lot of sunny days.
Today was a beautiful winter day, sunshine and chilly. Here you have to find an excuse not to be outdoors, nice weather and so many options. We decided to go out for lunch with the kids at the Seaport Village. We've been living here for 4 years and never been there before. Here are some pictures:
Right at the entrance we were surprised with a classic Carousel from 1895. It's in perfect condition. My kids went for a ride, and my daughter loved it!
After that we got some food, and listened to some live music. There are many restaurant options, a brewery, pizza, burger, seafood, etc. The food was very good.
And then we walked to check the stores and the shoreline. Ended up buying some souvenirs that the kids wanted.
