Think I have it figured out...these tabs on the bottom of the fan mount flush with the bottom of the ceiling joists, and that will give you half an inch of clearance once your drawall goes up. Onward with

Never did this before, but there is a first time for everything.  Success! Was fairly simple.  Prepare your insulated 6" ducting... Cut a hole in the side of your house, or through the roof.

Took a couple trips and a few back and forth decisions but we arrived at these choices pictured below: Really like the wood looking tile, and our vanity has a marble top so the hex marble tiles will look

Spent 3 hours today roughing in the shower bench.  Accurate cuts, making it level, and the correct height are the 3 main things to keep in mind. Came out good.  Need to get some more 2x4 and

New tires on my truck and they are making a mess. I assume this will stop once the tires are not so new...is this just the outer wear layer of rubber wearing off?  Or did I buy crap tires? Will monitor

Only 1100 made, this thing is as rare as they come. As a favor I picked this up for a friend out of state, and have it in my garage for the time being.  Might as well get in a few games while it’s

Furring out a bathroom wall! Pretty easy.  8 ft furring strips, your fasteners of choice, and go to it. I didnt have to cut mine since they were they were a perfect 8ft long, the height of the bathroom.

This place was cool. They served the beer in glass beakers, and had original NES, Genisys, SNES, and N64 available to play while you enjoyed a brew! We played a little RC Pro Am in downtown Pontiac that

Ok, quick post because this is kind of funny.  Check out my friends hand: Those 2 burn marks on the right that are half oval shaped...that’s sunburn from a sticker on a rental car window that amplified

Came out really nice! The crew did did a great job.  Didn’t mess up the grass much, and cleaned up once the job was complete.  I gave them some extra money for taking down and putting back up

Digging complete and they’ve added the sand and gravel.  Looks like a pretty good job so far.   Overcast today, so the cement guys might not be pouring anything today.  Actually I’m not

Previous owners of our home had a couple “weed gardens” inside the fenced in pool area.  Didn’t seem like the best spot for bugs, flowers, weeds, grass, and other stuff that would annoy someone trying

Stumbled upon baby deer this week in our backyard.  Cute little things.  Snapped s couple photos from afar, as I didn’t want my scent to get anywhere near them. This one one was laying by our

I heard Atwater had a special “maple” version of their Vanilla Java Porter, so I made my way to Detroit and stopped in to try it. It did not disappoint.  I have had the regular VJP many times, and

Finally made my way to Eastern Market Brewing Company yesterday.  The wife and I went down to watch the Tiger’s game, and hit a couple other places while we were down there.  Tried a couple brews...

Last post about this amazing exhibit I went to see this past weekend.  A couple additional shots of an old famous droid: ...and a new famous droid... C3PO qualifies as a costume, as there was a real

A couple outfits Natalie Portman wore: 1. Everyone’s favorite...as the outfit got shredded and torn apart as the fight scene went on! 2. And the iconic wedding outfits from the wedding scene! This exhibit

We had a STAR WARS filled Sunday yesterday.  We saw the new Solo movie, and also checked out a new exhibit at the DIA (Detroit Institute of Art) - Star Wars: The Power of Costume. As you can imagine,

Found out about this today, and had to get in the game.  I have played a lot of Magic the Gathering and Hearthstone in the past...so this is right up my alley. There is a fully detailed post if you

Be safe out there, and enjoy this hot weekend!  Grill it up! Long day of painting, feels good to sit back and fire up the Weber. Charcoal is the way to go, in my eyes.   Enjoy everyone, cheers!
