Finally made my way to Eastern Market Brewing Company yesterday. The wife and I went down to watch the Tiger’s game, and hit a couple other places while we were down there. Tried a couple brews...
Left - Lime Kolsh
Right - White Coffee Ale
Beers we’re both great. The kolsh was light and had a refreshing lime taste and aroma to it. The Coffee ale was superb, my favorite of all the beers I tried that day. Big coffee aroma and flavor. I love coffee beers. Both were well carbonated. They take good care of their glassware and take time to rinse off any beer that may have spilled over the ends of the glass while pouring.
Their logo is a big elephant, cool mural painted on the wall:
My my only complaint was the musty smell in the place. It was an old meat packing building, and they’ve only been open for 6 months.
