Hi everyone,
I'd just like to introduce myself! As the year 2018 closes, I hope you're all well and I'm really glad to be a part of the Steemit community. I'm a newcomer to Steemit, but not to blockchain and cryptocurrency in general. I describe myself as an educational innovator. This summer I started building a social impact startup, EdifyLDN, aiming to solve digital exclusion and youth unemployment by acting as a recruitment platform for young people and also as a provider of digital skills training. I'm extremely dedicated to making sure that knowledge of blockchain and how it can changes industries for the better must be spread to all, to enable widespread public adoption and understanding. Of course, the best place to start with this is your local area, so I've started delivering workshops on the latest innovations in blockchain to schools and community centres near to where I live.
Here's Edify's logo, designed by my sister:
And this is me. I work in digital marketing and run Edify alongside my job. I make videos on blockchain for my YouTube channel and also write about tech and innovating education on my Medium blog. I now hope to move those activities over to Steemit!
Thanks for reading :)
