Where have you been?

Since @psos is in Portugal, I will start off my travel memories with a photo from a trip to Portugal that included a visit to Bussaco and an overnight in the Bussaco Palace which is truly a fairy tale castle in an enchanted forest.

This lovely mountain road is in the northern French alps near Manigod, between Annecy (where @barbara-orenya is lucky enough to live) and Geneva, Switzerland.
I have fond memories of the time spent in this area.

Visiting Peterhof Palace, St Petersburg Russia and seeing the treasures in the Hermitage Museum was an experience of a lifetime for me. The Grand Cascade is incredible.
