All the rain we have had proved to be too much for this robin's nest and it was laying on the ground, on top of some of my rocks,this morning when I went out for my walk
I have been picking up bottle rockets out of my yard ever since the renter across the street celebrated the 4th of July with a big beer party. Every time the wind blows more of them fall out of the trees.
The party goers did plenty of damage by parking in the grass along the side of the road. The sheriff let them know it was their responsibility to repair the damage, but they don't seem to be in any hurry to clean up their mess.
The hydrangeas and daylilies are blooming along my driveway.
